Ariana Grande has by far one of the biggest voices in music, and she’s also really good at imitating other singers, but there are a few things about the Grammy Award-winning singer that may surprise you. For example, her name was inspired by a character from the cartoon Felix the Cat named Princess Oriana. However, it appears that Ariana isn’t a big fraidy-cat because she just loves watching horror movies. In fact, she says she just can’t get enough blood and gore! Ariana also loves to play monopoly, and a concert venue in Canada even surprised her with a Monopoly game piece made in her image!
She’s also a huge Jim Carrey fan, and her favorite movie is “Bruce Almighty.” Arianna is also a dog lover with nine fur babies at home named Coco, Cinnamon, Sirius, Fawkes, Toulouse, Ophelia, Pignoli, Strauss, and Lafayette. On top of that, most of them were rescues. She’s also a huge nerd (as if the horror movies didn’t give that away) who devours any and everything Harry Potter-related. Ariana’s favorite color is lavender, and believe it or not, she’s quite short, coming in at only 5’2. She was also once turned down when she was a kid for a part in her school choir — is that not insane?
