Getting to know someone is one of the greatest pleasures in life. When we first meet people, we may get certain impressions about their personalities. For instance, you may find someone to be very quiet and reserved or very boisterous and outgoing when you first meet them. But, very often, people can end up having the most surprising personalities once you get to know them. Now, if you’re an Adele fan, you may have seen some of her interviews. While she seems very regal and serious when she’s singing, Adele’s actually a very down to earth and fun-loving person with a personality as big as her voice!
And despite her American-sounding singing voice, Adele is about as British as British gets when it comes to her normal accent. It can throw American fans off a bit if they’re not used to hearing her speak. She also has a wicked sense of humor and comes across as very humble despite her enormous success in life. In this 2011 video, we get to see the singer really let her hair down on The Graham Norton Show as she talked about her then-upcoming American tour and her second album. She also mentioned how she broke up with her boyfriend and used it as inspiration for her album, as well as how she would sometimes stalk her exes on Facebook!

It’s not often that we feel celebrities are being their genuine selves, which don’t me wrong; they have every right to reserve for friends and family. But, with Adele, you really get a sense that what you see is what you get, and that’s one of the things that makes her so endearing. After watching this interview, I would love for a TV producer to find her the right sitcom to star in, I think she’s a natural!
