If you have been around long enough, you have already come to realize that fashions come and fashions go but there are times when trends never go out of style. We may wear something one year, never consider wearing it again the following year and within a decade or so, we are out buying the exact same outfit again. It seems as if the world is caught in a fashion cycle and we just continue to regurgitate the old fashions, just when you thought that they were never coming back again. Sometimes it is a good thing but at other times, it can be a nightmare.
If you wear an older fashion, you can sometimes get away with it because it is considered ‘retro’. Some fashions should be on the list to come back from time to time but there are also some fashion disasters that should always remain in the distant past. If you happen to be somebody that lived through the 1970s, you have to admit that the fashion that was popular for men during that decade was not only appalling, it deserves to be forgotten altogether.
