When it comes to talent, I think we all probably have something that we could share with others but not all of us would fall into the category of a superstar. Then again, we see many people who have a lot of talent and they may even get the ability to play for a worldwide audience but it doesn’t mean that they are going to be a superstar either. After all, there is more that goes into being popular today when it comes to playing music or showing any other type of talent. You need to be good at what you do but you also need to have the right people behind you that will push the envelope and make sure that you get in front of the right viewers so that you gain steam.
It wasn’t always that way and back in the 60s and 70s, people were sometimes pushed into the spotlight because they had talent and nothing else. Of course, there were also those who were playing the game at the time but it often has to do with being at the right place at the right time so that you got the ball rolling. We even had some unexpected people that showed up back at that time and they are still playing their music today. Those individuals went from the status of superstar to being legends, and even though they may be gone from the scene, we still enjoy what they offered to us many years later. One of those individuals was Chuck Berry.
Although Chuck Berry has not been playing for quite some time, we all know his music. After all, his guitar playing was some of the best ever heard and his legendary sound is one that many people still try to copy. When you hear his music playing, you can’t help but have the urge to dance and regardless of whether you get up and do it, you are still doing it on the inside.
