If there is one thing that most of us can remember from one day to the next, it’s a musical performance. Perhaps we had the opportunity to go to a concert and see one of our favorite singers performing live on the stage. Of course, it really doesn’t have to be our absolute favorite performer because many of them have the ability to put on an act that is absolutely incredible. If you are somebody who goes to many concerts, you probably can remember some of your favorites along the way. Sometimes those favorites may completely surprise you, because you never know when you are going to experience something that is truly beautiful and unique.
I’m sure that is how many people felt when they saw the performance in the video below. It started out with Barbra Streisand, who has an ability to give people goosebumps with the sound of her voice. She has been known for her music for many years and she also has been involved in acting in some of the more iconic movies several decades ago. Although she can sing almost any tune, she decided to sing a show tune from the musical Cats. The song, Memory, was coming across beautifully and I’m sure that the audience was thrilled with what they were hearing. Before long, they would hear and see something that was totally unexpected.
Barbra Streisand may be an iconic singer but there are many performers that also have a beautiful voice. This includes Susan Boyle, who was well known for her appearance and unexpected talent on one of the television talent shows. She has gone on to do some amazing things with her abilities but on this night, she came out on stage to join Barbra Streisand for a wonderful show. Listen to their two voices blending together is sure to give you chills.
We sometimes hear of moments that we wish we could have experienced for ourselves. I think that is how you will feel when you hear Barbra Streisand and Susan Boyle singing together and one of the better-known songs from Broadway musical history.
