If you stop to think about all of the musicians who become popular during the year, it can be quite mind-boggling. We begin to hear their music playing on the radio and it can be quite enjoyable, especially if they have a considerable amount of talent. Some of those artists may stick around for a while and others may come and go so quickly that you wonder if they were ever popular in the first place. Every once in a while, however, there is somebody who goes beyond a limited level of popularity and becomes extremely famous.
You probably don’t have to think very hard to think of a famous musician that has really had an impact on the industry and on their fans. One of those individuals is Ed Sheeran. He is an extremely popular singer that has a number of popular songs that play on the radio constantly. In fact, when he comes out with any new music, it’s almost guaranteed to be a hit from the very start. Of course, it isn’t only his music, it’s also his mild personality and his ability to give a good interview that help with his career as well. That isn’t even to mention the mellow voice that he has, which people just tend to love.
Although we probably recognize his music from the moment that we hear it, he wasn’t always at the level of fame that he is now. He has always had a wonderful voice but at one point, he was singing for a much smaller audience. Today, he may command an audience of thousands of people who are absolutely loving what he sings. As you are about to see in the video below, however, he used to perform for individuals or very small groups.
Like many performers, Sheeran used to be a street performer before he became famous. You could see him doing those small shows in the video below, and it’s absolutely endearing. He still had a wonderful voice and I’m sure that people were wondering why he wasn’t famous when they heard him performing on the street. Little did they know that time was not very far away.
