What is it that makes a superstar so popular? I’m sure that many people have thought about this and wondered the same thing. For some, it may be the fact that they are able to perform in front of an audience and really impress them with what they do. For others, it could be their unique voice and yet for others, it could be their personality that really stands out in a crowd. Any of those factors is enough to make somebody popular but when you have a combination of factors, it can pull things together and take them to the next level. That is how Rod Stewart gained his level of popularity.
Rod Stewart has an amazing voice that is very unique. Some people consider it to be a raspy sound but it is so interesting to hear, that it made him a superstar several decades ago. I’m sure that you can remember one or more of his songs and you may even be able to sing them by heart. As an older singer, he realized that his voice was getting the best of him and that he would eventually lose his ability to sing. That is when he made the switch from being a pop superstar to being a classical, smooth singer. Those older songs really suited him well and it was almost as if he launched his career a second time.
As far as his performance is concerned, there really is no comparison. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to see Rod Stewart in concert, it is absolutely full of energy. There is no denying that he is the master when it comes to pulling in the audience and getting them to enjoy everything that he does.
Everything comes together nicely in the video that you see below. It is from Rod Stewart performing live at Royal Albert Hall, singing the song ‘I don’t want to talk about it’. It’s a duet that he performs to a very happy audience and you are going to appreciate seeing and hearing it for yourself in the following video:
