Elvis Presley Performs ‘My Way’ Live In 1973 – Aloha From Hawaii, Live From Honolulu

There have been some singers who have come and gone very quickly from the scene. It’s not that they didn’t make a splash when they were here, it’s just they seem to lose their popularity very quickly. For example, MC Hammer is well known for being at the top of his game for a short amount of time with the song “You Can’t Touch This’. As fast as he came to the height of popularity, however, he also came crashing down. People still remember him down to this day, but primarily because of his quick rise to the top and fall to the bottom.

In fact, there are some singers who may be around for decades and even after they die, their music and their personality tends to live on. That is the case with Elvis Presley, and although he has been gone for decades, most people recognize his music, and even youngsters can do a fairly good Elvis impersonation if you were to ask. He was known for his music, for his movies and for his gyrating hips. He also was known for his concerts, including a very famous concert that was performed in Hawaii.

It’s hard to believe that you would have to go back to 1973 in order to relive this concert. It was Elvis Presley singing My Way, live in Honolulu.
