As I’m sure you realize, there is much more to putting on a performance than just singing a song. Of course, being able to sing is at the forefront of being popular as a singer, but if you’ve ever gone to a live concert, you realize that it is about 10% singing and 90% show. Between the dancing, the band playing, the light show and anything else that may be going on, it really comes together to make a live performance much more than listening to the music that you love so much. In most cases, people come away from such a live performance with more of a respect for the singer than they had in the past.
One of the things that a singer may bring to the performance is a lot of energy. This isn’t something that every performer is able to do but when they can, it is incredible to watch. I’m sure that is how you will feel when you watch this video of Bruno Mars and his epic halftime show at the Super Bowl XLVIII event. It starts out on a high note and by the time it is over, it is so action-packed that you almost don’t know where to look. The entire audience was absolutely thrilled with what he did, starting out by playing on the drums and ending with a song and dance routine that people were going to be thinking about for quite some time.
The Super Bowl is a sporting event but it is also something that can be enjoyed on a number of different levels. Bruno Mars is somebody that is so popular that he made it to the biggest event of the year and he was featured during the halftime show. When you watch him performing, you can see why he was selected.
With performances like this and the other enjoyable things having to do with the Super Bowl, it’s a shame that it only comes around once a year. That being said, being able to see these performances is always a treat and you get to relive this one in the following video.
