When we were young, many of us had a crush on a famous music star. As teenagers, we would go to the record store (remember those?) and eagerly wait in line to be one of the first to own a copy of their new album. And putting the cassette (or in some cases, record) in our music boxes felt like a sacred ceremony just before our speakers would produce the rich and wonderful sounds of their music. These musicians were more than just artists with catchy tunes; they were a daydream, a fantasy in our heads that could never be spoiled.
And for three-year-old Mila, her absolute favorite singer in the whole wide world and biggest crush is Maroon 5’s, Adam Levine. In fact, she considers herself his biggest little fan! And, back in 2015, the three-year-old had an opportunity to meet her idol face to face on The Ellen Show. The segment opens with a video of Mila’s mom breaking the sad news to her that Adam Levine had just gotten married. Mila’s reaction was absolutely priceless as she whined, “Noooooo!” She then broke out into tears over the tragic news that the love of her life was no longer available. And of course, the little girl remained in complete denial, choosing to believe that the love of her life was still waiting for her.

After seeing this adorable video, Ellen Degeneres invited Mila and her mom onto her show. Once there, the host asked the little girl about her crush on the Marron 5 singer, as she cutely confirmed her plans to marry the singer in a few years when she’s a bit older (like 8 or 9). Ellen also surprised the little girl with the most adorable fan outfit, matching white long shirt and pants with hearts and pictures of Adam adorned all over, as well as a blue denim jacket with Maroon 5 patches and a big heart patch on the back that said “Mila + Adam 4 Eva.”

However, the host said she had one more surprise for the little girl, and as she looked around her chair she noted, “it’s over there, I think…” The stage opens to their left and out walks Adam carrying a pink rose for his biggest fan! Mila’s mom guides her daughter to meet her idol as the shy little girl takes the rose and offers Adam a great big hug. Then picks her up and tosses her into the air, something which a bit much for her to process as the toddler reached back for her mommy and shyly curled in her lap throughout the entire segment.
