Woman Who Cared For Chimp Sees Him After 18 Years Apart

If you happen to have any animals in your life, you already realize that they can be amazing to have around. Most of us would probably think of a dog or a cat when we thought about animals and they are some of the most loyal animals in our lives. We may also have many other animals nearby, including some that run around in our backyard or maybe that play in the woods nearby. Animals help to enhance our appreciation for life and the planet where we live.

The more that you learn about animals, the more you will appreciate them. Some people even go out of their way to care for animals but not everybody has that same viewpoint. In fact, for many years, animals were used for scientific testing purposes and it is still something that takes place today. That type of treatment of animals may be limited severely, but there are still parts of the world that use it on a regular basis. Some people will do what they can to make a change and some that even care for the animals in amazing ways.

A woman by the name of Linda is one of those people who became a human mother to two chimps after they were not needed for scientific testing any longer. They spent all of their lives in seclusion, stuck in cages and being put through multiple tests. She was the one who left them out of the cage for the first time in six years and introduced them to the daylight. Linda continued to care for them for four years until they were able to return to the wild.

18 years after the animals went back to the wild, Linda had an opportunity to be reunited with them again. I’m sure that she was nervous, wondering if they would recognize her when they saw her. As you are about to see in the following video, they did more than recognize Linda, they rushed over to say hello.
