There is wisdom that is built into every youngster, regardless of whether we are talking about a human or an animal. For example, nobody has to teach a baby human how to cry when they need something and a mother dog will not teach her puppies how to nurse. It’s just something that is born into them as a type of wisdom that helps them to survive. As it turns out, this is something that exists in almost every creature, including some that you may not give much consideration to at first. That is where this little creature comes in, a baby beaver that was rescued.
I’d like to introduce you to Beave, a baby beaver who was rescued when he was only three weeks old. He was abandoned by the side of the road and ended up living with a licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist, named Nancy. This may bring up some rather interesting questions, and perhaps you are wondering what it would be like to live with a little animal like this in your home. It’s actually more adorable than you could probably realize because the little beaver is building dams using all types of materials that are available in the home.
This is probably something that you would find cute at first but it may get a little annoying, especially when you start tripping over plungers and brooms in the middle of the night. Some day, Beave will be building an actual dam but today, he is just practicing.
“Beave is just starting to dam with household objects, but has not yet started outside or in water,” elaborated Nancy. “He dams pretty much every evening. When I clean it up, he just rebuilds!”
