If there’s one thing that those of us who have cats in our lives understand, it’s the fact that they are quite smart. In fact, the intelligence level of most cats is off the charts. It’s not in the fact that they are able to do funny tricks like a dog, they just have the ability to think their way out of certain situations and it constantly leaves us amazed. They also can think ahead sometimes, and that is what this Facebook user caught his cat doing in a hilarious video.
The cat in this video is trying to steal a chicken drumstick off of his plate. We have seen cats begging for food before and some cats can even ‘talk’ to get their point across but this one has some really adorable moves. When the video was taken and posted online, the Internet went absolutely crazy for this adorable feline.
Some cats will use the direct approach when they are trying to get food off of your plate. They may even wait for a more opportune moment, perhaps when you’re not in the room. This cat has a different agenda and he decided to get affectionate with his human as a way of distraction. It’s all about misdirection, however, and before long, the cat reaches out and tries to take his food.
Of course, the human is not falling for it and is even suspicious from the very beginning. He may not have been fooled by the cat’s affection but he did manage to capture a video that all of us love.
