There are many different types of animals that may touch our heart but one that most of us appreciate is an elephant. It just seems as if they are able to show a lot of emotion and when you watch them for any length of time, you realize that they are a very thinking type of animal. They experience a lot of emotion, including heartaches, happiness and almost everything in between. When it comes to reunions, they are absolutely an emotional event and that is clearly seen when you watch these two elephants who haven’t seen each other in 22 years.
Elephants are known for their expressive behavior and you can clearly see the emotion they are feeling in their eyes. This is true when they are upset, and their body language may begin to show how they are feeling almost right away. This particular video was taken in Tennessee at an elephant sanctuary. We see Shirley and Jenny, who have been apart for over 22 years and they are brought back together in a wonderful reunion.
Jenny and Shirley were circus elephants at one time and they used to work together. They never thought they would see each other after they were separated.
This video really shows a happy moment but it is the emotion that the elephant show that really brings us back to reality. These elephants were kept in captivity and practically imprisoned for years.
The elephant sanctuary and everyone who works at it take care of the elephants in a very beautiful way. That includes Shirley and Jenny, who are back together again after being apart for so long.
