Mom Orders The Wrong Snow Cone And The Dog Refuses To Eat It

What word would you use to describe your dog? I think that all of us have something particular in mind, but many people would probably refer to them as being “spoiled”. After all, as humans, we are willing to do anything for our furry friends and at times, we may even spoil them along the way. It isn’t intentional, but dogs can be divas and that certainly is the case with a dog named Lola. She was originally found in a local shelter and unfortunately, suffered some severe complications after she was spayed. She couldn’t walk for a while, but she was adopted into a loving family along with many other rescue dogs.

Like any dog, Lola has her own personality and at times, that personality shines through. Her human mom, Annie Belanger Burley spoke to the dodo, saying that they lived with Lola for six years but officially, she has been their dog for four years. They don’t know how old she is but they say that she doesn’t age. They also talk about her being a ‘total weirdo’ that needs to be tucked in every night, has a problem with snoring when she’s awake, and is a little on the goofy side. She also tends to get herself in trouble every once in a while, but that’s just her precocious personality shining through. Lola also has a love of snow cones, then and she loves the chicken broth flavor with a milk bone on top.

When they went for snow cones one day, Burley decided that Lola should get a plain snowcone because her stomach was upset and she didn’t want to make it worse. She still thought Lola would enjoy it, even if it wasn’t what she usually got. Then again, she wasn’t thinking about Lola and her unique personality.

Lola did give the snowcone a sniff but she then gave mom a look that let her know without a shadow of a doubt that she was not going to touch it. It wasn’t what she wanted and she refused to eat it. She also looked out of the side of her eye the entire way home. We all have moments like this and it seems as if Lola had one of those moments and we all get to enjoy it.
