Michael J Fox Shows Us Inside Of His Beautiful Home

Most celebrities love their privacy and, although they may share some personal details online, they try to keep most of it hidden behind the scenes. Michael J Fox does this as well, but he has now opened up his home for all to see.

The world held its breath for a moment when they heard that Michael J Fox had Parkinson’s disease. That’s been many years ago, and they have been standing in his corner ever since.

Not only does he do what he can to let others know about the disease, he also expresses how he is able to deal with the situation in his own way. This includes speaking about his home, where he finds comfort and happiness.

Michael J Fox opened up about his home and shared some amazing pictures with us. He also recently celebrated his 63rd birthday. Some hints were made about him returning to acting, although he is now officially retired.

That doesn’t mean that he hasn’t appeared anywhere since he retired. In October 2022, he met up with Christopher Lloyd at the New York Comic Con. They had a nice reunion and were on the stage as Back to the Future stars.

This wasn’t the first time that they had a reunion, as they did so in 2020 as well. As he walked across the stage to give Lloyd a hug, people couldn’t help but notice how difficult it was for him to control his movements because of Parkinson’s.

The reunion clip went viral for all the right reasons. Many people who saw it were brought to tears over the emotions that were shared on stage between the two Back to the Future stars. It was also a humbling experience for many who watched it as well.

Michael was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease when he was only 29 years old. He is now 63 years old and has been living with the disease for many years. He has been quoted as saying that you don’t die from Parkinson’s disease, you die with Parkinson’s disease.

Throughout his ordeal, he has been able to share his life with his wife, Tracy. They met on the set of Family Ties and were married in 1988. She has been his constant support since then.

That doesn’t mean, however, that it is always been easy. When she spoke with Oprah in 2002, she said that it wasn’t what she was expecting but she didn’t have a problem with her husband’s illness. She said: “It was about his doubting and the behavior that came out of that fear.”

Over the years, they both have had their doubts but she is happy that he has been positive and has done what he can during this difficult time.

They have a 5000-square-foot estate with five bathrooms and six bedrooms. They were raising their children when he and his wife had it built in 1997. It sits on 72 acres in Connecticut.

The property also has a fishing pond and shack, which Michael considers to be his Playhouse. The home itself has become a fantasy location where the family visits during the weekends.

When the home was built, Michael thought that it was a luxury and although those who built it didn’t know about his Parkinson’s disease, they did build him ‘the best therapy possible.’

It was a nice place to escape with his family. He put it up on the market with his wife in 2016 for $4.25 million. He said: “This place has raised four kids. We beat the he** out of it.” They did have other places to live, so they weren’t out on the streets.

The home in Connecticut was described as their private sanctuary. He said their tastes did change but they didn’t redecorate because it was such a large undertaking.

Even though they went through their highs and lows, they were able to enjoy the years, thanks to the support they had for each other and a beautiful home where they could find peace and quiet.
