If you have an animal in your life, you realize that they have a lot of personality. They also can show that personality in ways that people who don’t have animals could never understand. It is especially true when they show love or appreciation to humans, and they may do it in different ways. Dogs may wag their tails or provide you with a lot of kisses. Birds may flap their wings or sing. When you help them in some way or another, they’re quick to return the favor with a thank you.
It is not only true of animals we may have in our home, but it is also true of wild animals. It is beautifully illustrated with this condor, and we are so thankful that someone had the mindset to take out a camera and shoot a video while it happened. It took place in Argentina when Della Gaspera was on his ranch.
Della is familiar with all types of animals and birds and when he was out on his property one day, he saw a bird that was wounded. When he got closer, he realized it was a condor that had fallen out of its nest and hurt its leg. Della didn’t hesitate. He provided it with the care it needed and some nourishment. He hoped that the bird would recover and had faith that it would. He thought that eventually the condor would gain back enough strength and be able to fly free.
It is not typical for a man and a bird to become friends but Della became close with this condor. He never imagined that he would’ve rescued such a bird one day or that it would show thanks in such an amazing way to him. When the video hit Facebook, it went viral because he was kissed and cuddled by this huge bird in an unimaginable way.
