Lone Dolphin Swims To A Diver To Ask For Urgent Help

More than likely, you have heard somebody talking about how intelligent animals are. Many mammals have a level of intelligence that we often tend to overlook but when it comes to dolphins, it is difficult to miss how they are just smart beyond belief. After all, they show it in so many different ways, from the fact that they have their own language to the interaction that they have with humans.

The amount of intelligence that is seen in dolphins sometimes comes to the fore and it is difficult to overlook. It was seen recently when a January night dive was taking place at Gadren Eel Cove in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. It was a beautiful night to see some manta rays but as they were watching what was taking place underwater, a bottlenose dolphin came and began swimming in among them. That is when he approached scuba diver Keller Laros because he needed some urgent help. It seems that some fishing line had wrapped around the dolphin and he was having trouble swimming.

The left pectoral fin of the dolphin was stuck and fishing line was wrapped around it. There was even a hook that was embedded in the body of the dolphin. The divers were equipped for some time under the water, so they signaled the dolphin to come over and what took place next is going to amaze you! You can see it in this video:
