It doesn’t matter how old we are, when we have an animal that we love in our lives, there is nothing quite like that experience. It is something that many of us treasure so much that we would never even consider being without a beloved pet by our side. Of course, it becomes even more special when a child is involved and that’s exactly what we see in the following story. It doesn’t involve a dog or cat, as you would probably expect, it involves a five-year-old horse named Sauce.
KK is a five-year-old girl who has been best friends with Sauce, her five-year-old horse since they laid eyes on each other. It doesn’t matter where KK goes, Sauce is going to be right there with her. In fact, you might say that they do everything together. Her mother, Ashlie Phillips said that they got the horse when the little girl was only two years old. Typically, they allow Sauce to be loose in the yard, and in the morning, the horse will come right up to the bedroom window and wait for the little girl to wake up.
Although that is a lot of togetherness, it really isn’t enough for the little girl and her horse. There are times when Sauce is allowed to be brought into the house. The horse can come in, but there is a standing rule that the living room is the only place where the horse can be. That is until Phillips got distracted one day and discovered that the little girl and horse had disappeared.
It didn’t take very long until the mother discovered that KK had taken the horse up to see her room. She had to sneak Sauce up there but it wasn’t long before she got caught. The mother had to put her foot down but it was hard to be mad with something this adorable.
