There is something amazing about cats and every cat owner would agree with me. They tend to be solitary creatures that sometimes need to be nuzzled and cared for individually but when they are done with you, they have no problem walking away and being on their own. They are also elegant and graceful and it is the complete package that makes us love them so much. When we have a cat in our home, we could watch them for hours, regardless of whether they were walking along the back of the sofa or laying in the sunshine.
One of the things that cats enjoy doing is getting around and they do so in a rather interesting way. Sometimes, they will make a tremendous leap from one point to another and they are almost always going to stick the landing perfectly. Every once in a while, however, something seems to go wrong in the calculation and the cat just doesn’t quite make the jump. When that happens, we typically laugh because the cat gets up and pretends as if nothing happened.
In this video, a cat is attempting to jump onto a roof and he is taking his time to stare down the expanse between him and the landing. Admittedly, it is a long jump but in his mind he is obviously going over all of the measurements and angles to calculate the perfect jump. The unfortunate thing is that things didn’t go quite so well for the feline and he ended up missing the jump completely. You are certain to feel a little bad for the cat but then again, there is just too much humor not to laugh.
