When we have an animal as part of our lives, we want to do everything we possibly can to share our lives with them. They provide us with so much love and enjoyment that we do what we can to give as much back as possible. We provide them with plenty of good food, a warm place to sleep and medical care when necessary. There is also something else that we do for our pets, we treat them as part of the family. In fact, some people would readily admit that they find their pets to be even more of a part of the family that some of the human members that share their household.
Of course, having a pet as part of the family means that you are going to bring them into the fold in some unusual ways at times. This might even include having them along when we have family photos taken. We want to make sure that we preserve the time that we have with our pets, and regardless of whether it is a dog or a cat (or a chicken), having them as part of the family photograph is an event that is worthy of our attention. That doesn’t mean, however, that all of those pictures are going to turn out perfect. There are going to be times when having a pet in a family picture is just a little bit strange or perhaps even creepy. Look down through the following pictures and you be the judge:
