Feisty Cat Got Busted Shutting His ‘Girlfriend’ in Washing Machine During an Argument

If you’ve ever lived with a cat, then you’re well aware of how mischievous they can be. Cats are fascinating because they all have unique personalities. We have multiple cats and every single one of them is unique in their own way. They’re very “devil may care” when it comes to how they approach life and they tend to live in the moment. Here at our house, some of our cats like to “make things happen,” and by that I mean knock things off the shelves or countertops, make doors close, and things like that. Anything that can do something that causes an effect, they’re delighted and pleased with themselves.

A man named Sam Beacon captured his cat closing his “girlfriend” (the cat’s girlfriend, not Sam’s girlfriend) in the dryer when they were having an argument. The six-year-old cat is named Caesar and he’s sitting by just sort of idly and then he suddenly shuts the door, trapping his girlfriend Kimber in the washing machine. In a series of photos that Sam captured, you can see it all play out. The family lives in Derbyshire, England, and Kimber made the mistake of hopping into the washer. Once she was inside the machine, Caesar rushed to the door and jumped up on his hind legs to push it closed.

I can totally see a cat doing that! The series of photos is absolutely hilarious and in the last photo, Kimber is looking out in puzzlement as Caesar wanders away to find more mischief to get into. Fortunately, Sam was nearby to make sure that Kimber got out safely. Sam said that the photos sum Caesar up perfectly and he’s always very playful.

He explained that the two obviously had a little “lovers tiff” but it all ended well.

Sam explained that he had taken some laundry out of the machine and Kimber jumped in. That’s when Caesar did what he did.

As you can see, they’re back to being best buddies now.
