If there is one thing that most of us know for certain by this time, it’s the fact that winter is upon us. In fact, it seems as if wintertime has taken hold and it is not about to let go anytime soon. We have the frigid cold temperatures, the gray skies and of course, plenty of snow on the ground. We tend to complain a lot about it as humans but imagine what it is like to be an animal.
There are certain things in the winter that we enjoy and other things that we may not enjoy. For those people who live in the country, seeing deer come through the property is perhaps one of those little things in life that they truly appreciate. Some people feel the deer are cute and other people find them to be a nuisance, especially when it comes to eating flowers and shrubs. As you are about to see, however, there is one deer who had an appetite for something just a little bit different.
This video has absolutely gone viral online. After all, it shows you something that you certainly don’t see every day.
The deer walks into the middle of the yard and there is a mound of snow, which is actually a snowman. At first, it looks like the deer isn’t sure what to do and he even approaches cautiously as if to see if something is wrong or not. It doesn’t appear as if there is anything for the deer to eat for miles but the deer smells something and then it spots it, it’s a carrot nose.
After the deer sniffs at the nose a little bit more, it does some additional inspection and then takes its first bite. Once the deer realizes that the nose is okay, he digs him and eats the entire thing! Fortunately, the decorations were a little bit out of the ordinary and that is when the deer notices something else incredible. The snowman had an entire hat made out of carrots!
There is another deer on the scene but it didn’t manage to get any food. That being said, it must’ve been a little bit frustrated because the deer knocked the snowman down and checked for anything that may have been hidden. It looked like it was curtains for the snowman. It may be considered a horrific event but then again, it is so funny that the video has been viewed more than a million times.
