Cop Saves Dog From Dying In Hot Car And The Owners Get Angry

When we have a dog in our life, we are willing to do whatever we can to make them happy, comfortable, and keep them safe. The same is also true for dogs that may not be a part of our family and when we see a dog in need, our heart goes out to them. Perhaps that is why this story really touches our hearts but at the same time, it also makes us irritated for all the right reasons. It shows us just how far somebody was willing to go to save a dog’s life and just how stupid some people can be when it comes to caring for the dog they own.

It started in Plymouth when a police officer saw a little dog that was trapped inside of a car. The car was way too hot, and the dog was inside for more than two hours. He continued to pant and they couldn’t find the owner anywhere. The police knew that the dog was not going to last much longer, so they took the appropriate measure and smashed one of the windows. They were then able to get into the car to save the dog’s life. Of course, the dog was happy to be free and even gave the cop’s leg a ‘hug’. The owner, on the other hand, was not very happy.

When the owner came to the car, they found that the window had been smashed and was very annoyed. They explained that the police officer was well within his rights to do what they did because they thought that the dog was in danger. A veterinarian is now checking the dog and the owners could even be fined under an animal cruelty charge.

This may be a situation that makes us think about what we would do with our dogs and how far we would go to protect them. It also is a good reminder for everyone that we should not leave our dogs in a locked car.
