You know what they say, birds just wanna have fun! But while most birds may define “fun” as flying around and pecking for seeds, others, like the parrot in the video above, defines a good time slightly differently.
Instead of pecking for seeds, this bird loves to hang out with the dogs and spend his afternoon barking at whatever his friends deem worthy of barking at.
In a video, taken in Roodepoort, South Africa, we can see a fierce parrot mingling with a group of dogs while flawlessly mimicking their barks.
According to the video description, the parrot’s owner calls the bird “a child in the house.”
The bird’s reportedly been a member of their family for 19 years, during which time he’s formed a close bond with other animals, mainly dogs.
“He grew up amongst dogs and is lovable and super intelligent. He copies many human and dog actions. He loves cuddling and playing with the dogs. He is truly one of a kind,” the video description reads.
Social media comments on this funny little bird are equally hilarious.
Some commenters didn’t know quite what to make of him.
