We have some interesting animals that share this planet with us. Some of them may find their way into our homes, and we certainly do love the dogs and cats (or other animals) that we have as pets. On the other hand, we don’t want to overlook some of the wild animals and the domesticated animals that we find in many parts of the world that don’t live in our homes. Some of them may be quite endearing to us, and I think that is how many people feel about the alpaca. After all, they are adorable but for those who live in a part of the world where the alpaca also lives, they are quite useful.
There is also something else about the alpaca that we probably don’t give enough credit to. I’m talking about their fleece, which is also called a natural fiber or some people just refer to it as their hair. It really doesn’t matter what you call it, it is nothing short of awesome when you look at it in the right light. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that alpaca fiber is harvested on an annual basis. When you see them with their fresh haircut, especially when it is done with someone who has a little creativity and perhaps even a sense of humor, it takes these animals to an entirely new level.
