When we have an animal in our lives, we can’t help but be touched with all that they bring to the table. We might have a dog or a cat in our family and they are there for us through thick and thin, greeting us when we come home after a difficult day and providing us with ongoing love and support in the best way they possibly can. Of course, most of us also realize that those animals also provide a little bit of comedy relief in some circumstances. It really has to do with their personality, and some animals have more personality than others.
I’d like to introduce you to Edie. As a household pet, she is perhaps one of the more unusual that we have heard in quite some time. You see, she is not a dog or a cat, but rather, she is a tiny fennec fox. Not everybody can have such an animal in their home, as it requires some experience on the part of the human as well as just the right circumstances on behalf of the animal. For this family, however, Edie provides an ongoing source of entertainment, and you are going to love it when you see it for yourself.
Like most animals, Edie has a very short attention span. In fact, the human in her life says that she has the attention of ‘a teaspoon’. They were busy taking a video to share with others when this little fox’s personality came through in a fantastic way.
Like a dog, it is possible to teach a fox how to obey certain basic commands. They were trying to teach Edie how to sit on command but she was just too distracted by the camera strap and the colorful balls that were scattered on the floor in front of her. Watch it for yourself in this video:
