It seems that there are two types of people in this world, those who like dogs and enjoy having them around and those who absolutely love dogs and are bananas about them! All of us would probably agree that if somebody didn’t see everything good about dogs, they really weren’t looking hard enough. Something else that many people love is Netflix and now the two of them have teamed up together to bring us a documentary that is perfect for those who love dogs.
The new series really does cut to the chase when it comes to the title. You will be able to watch it on Netflix, and the documentary is called ‘Dogs’. If you take the time to watch the trailer below, you will see that it is absolutely everything that you could ever have hoped for in a Netflix show. Quite simply, it is going to be phenomenal to watch it and more than likely, you will be watching it over and over again.

This documentary is going to follow 6 stories about 6 canines and the humans that are part of their lives. It will talk about the emotional bonds that form between people and their dogs. Those dogs are also from different parts of the world, including Italy, Costa Rica, Japan, Syria and the United States.
One of the stories is about a woman who has an absolute passion for grooming dogs. There is also the tale of a man who lives thousands of miles away from his husky and misses him dearly.
It is going to do more than talk about how to care for dogs, it is going to show how they take care of us every day. Guaranteed you’re going to shed some tears with each episode.
The show gets right into it as well. The first episode talks about an 11-year-old girl who has severe seizures and her therapy dog, Rory.
The second episode is going to talk about separation and dedication when it discusses Ayham and Zeus. Ayham left war-torn Syria but he was willing to cross the border to bring back his beloved dog with him.
It seems as if this show is going to be an emotional roller coaster, especially for those of us who tend to cry at the drop of a hat where a dog is concerned.
Glenn Zipper one of the directors and developers had the following to say in an interview:
“Dogs don’t just make us feel loved, dogs make us feel safe. In the world we live in today, no matter how divided we are, we should take care to realise how much dogs mean to all of us, and how our bond with them can help bring us together.”
