I think most people would agree that we live in a rather amazing world. It doesn’t matter what direction we look, we can see something that is incredible unfolding in front of our eyes. For some people, it may be looking at a beautiful sunset and for others, it could be seen the ocean for the first time. These tend to be things that we all experience but every once in awhile, we get a unique look at the world around us that we know is a rare sight.
If there is one thing that most people want out of life, it’s a little bit of peace. The problem is, we don’t live in a world that often allows us to see peace, even on a basic level. If you desire a little bit of peace in your life, then you are going to love what this page has to offer. It shows a little dog and a friend that is so unlikely, it is probably something you wouldn’t see if you continued to watch for thousands of years.
Rylee Boland and her French bulldog, Mochi, were having one of those moments when they were at home in California. It was perhaps a normal day to start out with but suddenly, a monarch butterfly stopped by to pay a visit.
It wasn’t long before the dog went over to say hello.
Even though Mochi tends to be a little bit rambunctious, she seemed to be aware of how delicate the butterfly was.
“She was so sweet and did not want to hurt it,” Boland said. “She is very well-behaved and has the kindest heart.”
The butterfly seemed to hang out for a while, almost as if it had sensed how curious the puppy was.
“Both the butterfly and Mochi were so calm I was able to snap a bunch of pictures,” Boland said.
The pair continued to interact for about 15 minutes and eventually, the butterfly flew away. It even stopped to land on Boland’s hand for a moment before it left.
Nobody is sure why the amount of trust was shown by the butterfly but it was a beautiful scene that we are all happy was recorded.
Sometimes we let the world go by and we don’t really stop to smell the roses. As far as Mochi is concerned, however, it was a perfect moment in time.
“It was an amazing experience,” she said.
