The world that we live in is truly amazing but most people don’t stop to smell the roses, so to speak. We often tend to move from one moment to another and we sometimes get so busy that even the most important things tend to get away from us. Sometimes, it is nice to slow down and enjoy what life has to offer, and that is what Catherine Puzino was doing when she was on a dive in Florida on the Crystal River. It was a special day, but something was about to happen that would make it even more special for her and for everyone who saw the video.
If you’ve never had the opportunity to see a Manatee before, they really are a very special animal. Swimming around manatees is always going to be a welcome thing for anyone who enjoys being in the water around these creatures. When Puzino looked down, there was a small Manatee that was about a-year-old and, as you can imagine, it was a very cute scene. What even made it more adorable, however, is the fact that the young Manatee was scratching an itch.
When you have an itch, you know that it feels very good to scratch it. It seems as if that is also true for this young Manatee, and it was a video opportunity unlike any other. Of course, manatees are very curious creatures and this young Manatee wanted nothing more than to come up and investigate the woman who was so interested in watching him scratch an itch.
Puzino knew better than to try to engage the little one or to help him scratch his itch. After all, coming in contact with a Manatee directly is illegal, but, in her words, “When I came across this cutie, I fell in love.” She added: “You can actually hear me say, ‘Oh my God,’ through the snorkel.”
