The High-Kicks Of This Huge Texas Dance Troupe Will Amaze You

Dancing is something that all of us can do from the time we are very young. In fact, if you put music on and watch a little baby, you will see that they are moving to the tune before they can even walk.

As we get older, some of us continue to dance and we may entertain ourselves with it at times. There are others, however, who take things to an entirely new level and they dance to entertain others.

There is a US dance troupe that was established about three decades ago, The Emerald Bells. They consider themselves to be a ‘supersized dance team from Southlake, Texas with a long-standing tradition of excellence.’ I would say they have that description correct when you watch the video below.

Over the years, they have won many awards and been in more competitions than most dancers will ever take part in. One of those was the 2017 Crowd Pleasers Dance Area Competition. They won the competition with a hard-hitting creative routine that they called the ‘high kick’.

In order to put on this performance, the 80 members stood on the floor and didn’t move a muscle. When you first start watching the video, you might even wonder if they are actually live or if it is frozen.

When they start to move, however, they begin performing to the Eurythmics song, Sweet Dreams. Their momentous high kicks and perfect movement together are going to make you want to watch it twice.
