One of the singers who has touched a number of generations on a very deep level is Elvis Presley. He earned the title, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and his music continues to be influential down to this day.
When you consider the songs that Elvis Presley sang during his time, they can be considered nothing but classics. They have the ability to bring emotions out in individuals, and sometimes, his concerts would do the same.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to see Elvis in concert any longer, but we do have something interesting that can be done. Helene Fischer did it perfectly when she stood alongside archived footage of Elvis Presley on the stage and performed a duet with him to ‘Just Pretend’.
These archived recordings of Elvis have been a very important part of many music libraries since they were released in 2016. That record, ‘The Wonder of You: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’ is a piece of art. There were musical arrangements from the orchestra that took those old classics and brought them to an even greater level.
In the video, you see Elvis on the large screen performing the song, ‘Just Pretend’. The clip may be many years old, but it is still as entertaining as it ever was.
As the cameras zoom out, you see that he is there standing beside Helene Fisher, who performs a duet with Elvis in a very unique way. The two of their voices blended together perfectly but having the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra contribute to it just makes it even better.
It’s not often that you get to see something this amazing, but fortunately, we have the video so that we can watch it as many times as we’d like.
