People are looking for something to take their minds off the events of the day, so they often turn to Netflix and binge-watch a show. There is one that people are now watching and they are getting so hooked that they are watching it for ’10 hours straight.’
There are seven seasons in the sci-fi drama and each season has over a dozen episodes. People can’t say enough good about it, with one saying that once they finally started it, they couldn’t stop watching it.
Another says that it is one of the most underrated TV series and the third includes it among the ‘best shows I have ever watched’.
It isn’t just the viewers who like the show, even critics are thrilled with what they are seeing. In writing for The Guardian, Elizabeth Flux wrote: “Filled with cliffhangers (sometimes literally), interpersonal dramas, and the occasional gut-punch of a plot twist, it’s an intelligently crafted, completely engrossing series that somehow manages to distract you from the world’s problems by being all about the world’s problems.”
It has also scored a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.
This series is based on a young adult novel series by Kass Morgan. The synopsis reads: “A nuclear conflict has decimated civilization. A century later, a spaceship accommodating humanity’s lone survivors dispatch 100 juvenile delinquents back to the Earth to determine its habitability.”
The show originally aired on The CW and it is entitled ‘The 100’. Now that it is on Netflix, people are able to binge-watch it from the beginning to the end without stopping.
The show officially ended in 2020 but new fans continue to come out of the woodwork and they are thrilled with the opportunity they have to watch it.
