Science Has Spoken: Robert Pattinson Is The ‘Most Attractive Man In The World’

We may often hear people talk about individuals either in a good or bad way. We often talk it up as being a matter of opinion, but sometimes science gets involved.

If you watch Twilight, then you are more than likely familiar with Robert Pattison. Most people would admit that he is handsome but according to science, he has the ‘perfect face’ by the stanards of the Golden Ratio.

In other words, science says that he is the most attractive man in the world.

There are some who agree with this, such as one person who commented on a post dealing with this scientific find, saying that they couldn’t agree more. Others, however, disagree and now they have lost their faith in science.

In addition, some people are concerned because he is only one person and they shouldn’t judge him because he is famous. There are millions of other men in the world, so how do they know that he is the most attractive out of all of them?

As it turns out, Pattison has also responded in a rather interesting video that has gone viral.

In case you are unfamiliar with the Golden Ratio, it has been around since the Renaissance time. It has to do with the Greek study of aesthetics and historically has been used by architects and artists to create works that are aesthetically pleasing.

For example, Leonardo da Vinci was said to of applied this ratio when making his famous drawing that depicts the perfect human male body. Science is now using the same formula to determine if somebody is attractive or not.

The length and width of a person’s face are measured and then those numbers are divided. If the ratio is close to 1.618 (Phi), then you are close to perfect. These measurements are taken from the forehead hairline to the spot between the eyes and the bottom of the nose to the spot between the eyes among others.

If you want to be considered beautiful by the Golden Ratio standards, then the length of the nose has to be equal to the length of the ear. The width of the eye should also be equal to the distance between the eyes.

According to Dr. DeSilva, the head of the Center for Advanced Facial Cosmetics and Plastic Surgery in London, he was deserving of it. He said: “Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.

“These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.”

There were others who were also close and were in the running, including Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Bradley Cooper was also in the running, but he still fell short of Pattison.
