There are many different sports to enjoy but figure skating seems to be a favorite among many. It is not only a sport that requires a lot of skill and determination, it is also a very expressive sport as well.
When you really stop to think about everything that goes into a performance on the ice, it’s difficult to imagine how much time it would take to master it. Some dancers are able to drift across the ice beautifully as if they weren’t even putting in the effort into it, and others can jump, spin, and do all different types of tracks.
It’s not just about doing the moves on the ice, it’s also about putting emotion into the routine as well. Not everybody is able to do this, but one young Russian figure skater, Veronika Zhilina seems to have mastered it.
Veronika is the Russian figure skater who skated to a version of the song, hallelujah. Because of the expressive nature of the routine, it has gone viral for all the right reasons.
It is not just the fact that she is able to dance on the ice in this way, it’s that she was so young. When this routine was done in 2018, Veronika was only 10 years old.
She was born in May 2008 in Russia and she started very young to learn how to figure skate. Her mother began teaching her how to skate when she was only three years old.
She showed a real skill on the ice, and it allowed her to perform and to start winning the hearts of those of the audience at a very early age.
