Insiders Say Carrie Underwood Was ‘Furious’ Over Her Treatment At The Inauguration

There will come a time in almost every life when they get to do something that is beyond amazing. Some people have many of those moments, and Carrie Underwood recently had one.

Carrie Underwood is well known for her abilities as a country music singer. Recently she was asked to perform at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration and not everybody was happy with her decision to say yes.

As it turns out, Underwood is reportedly unhappy about how everything went when she was having her big moment. A problem with the audio took place and she had to sing a cappella, and insiders are now saying that she is ‘furious’ that the issue was handled so poorly.

As the country music legend walked out in front of the crowd, no music was there to accompany her. Rather, there was an awkward silence for two full minutes before they finally asked her to go ahead and sing.

After the performance, people seemed to be pleased with what Carrie Underwood was able to do, but she wasn’t very happy about it. According to an insider, she was ‘furious’ at what took place and she feels that another artist would never have been put in that situation.

Some feel that the last-minute move of the inauguration indoors may have been a factor. That still doesn’t stop her from having a negative reaction to what happened.

The insider said: “Carrie was dissatisfied with her performance at the event, primarily due to the limited space she was given, which left her feeling cramped and uncomfortable.”

Apparently, she also felt as if she didn’t get the same ‘level of respect’ that was given to Beyoncé and Lady Gaga recently. She had a high level of anxiety throughout the performance.

In the end, the insider said that she had a bit of a ‘hissy fit’ when the performance was over. They said that the awkwardness that preceded the performance led to her perception that it wasn’t what it should have been.

The insider said: “She will eventually laugh about it and take it for what it was, but she is disappointed that it wasn’t more of a moment as the moment she was searching for got altered with the technical difficulties.

“Though it isn’t her day, and she just wanted to add to the day and not upstage anything, she was annoyed of how it turned out.”
