Not only are Netflix users calling this series amazing and comparing it to Game of Thrones, they are already saying that this new series is so good that they have watched it multiple times already.
If you are familiar with Netflix, you realize that they add content to their portfolio on a regular basis. They are doing their best to keep their viewers engaged, and this series seems to be doing quite well.
Not only are people comparing it to Game of Thrones, they are calling it the ‘best series of all time’ and saying that it is even better than Game of Thrones. That is high praise, but they are not the only ones who are praising it.
Rotten Tomatoes has given it a 93% score and on IMDb, it has received 8.5/10. Undoubtedly, they are very enthusiastic about the show, so you can see why people are saying that there is never a dull moment.
The show, which is a historical action was written by Michael Hearst and in the first six seasons, the cast was impressive. It included big names, such as Travis Fimmel, Gustaf Skarsgård, Alexander Ludwig, and Alex Høgh Andersen.
The series is a combination of history, mythology, and stories about Vikings, heroes, and gods from the 13th and 14th centuries.
The synopsis says: “This gritty drama charts the exploits of Viking hero Ragnar Lothbrok as he extends the Norse reach by challenging an unfit leader who lacks vision.” Which gets us interested already.
The show, ‘Vikings’ is a compelling story that features realistic sets, plenty of fighting, and little AI or special effects. In fact, they said: “We use visual effects very sparingly. It’s not Game of Thrones where everything is a visual effect. These characters fight for real. They row boats, they climb cliffs, they get bruised and they bleed. We do things as authentically as we can.”
I guess the only thing we need to do at this point is to sit down and binge-watch the show. Who knows, we may just go back and watch it a second time!
