Susan Boyle Makes An Impressive Comeback In Newcastle To Perform ‘I Dreamed A Dream’

Susan Boyle is one of those stories that just keeps getting better as time goes by. She was basically unknown when she showed up on a television talent show and suddenly, she was a household name.

Ever since that first performance in 2009, Susan Boyle has been known for her singing abilities. Recently, she was out again on stage at the premiere of a musical in Newcastle, England. She received a standing ovation.

Susan wasn’t in the show itself but she did appear at the end, singing two songs. This included her it: ‘I Dreamed a Dream’. She looked beautiful in her red outfit and the audience was smitten, many of whom began responded with cheers of “Susan, we love you!”

Her song, I Dream a Dream is one that captures her personal story very closely. It’s a ballot from Les Misérables, and is about a mother who is going through a hard time. After losing her job, she sings the song and reflects on life’s realities and lost dreams.

It’s amazing to think that Susan Boyle would go from a relative unknown to someone so famous in the short amount of time. When you hear her singing the song, however, you know that she deserves every bit of it.
