Most of us who own a piece of property are familiar with it to a large extent. That isn’t the case with everyone, such as this Vietnam farmer who found something strange on his property.
One day, he found an unexplored cave and when he saw a hole in the rock and heard a loud sound, he decided he would never go into it. As it turns out, it was one of the best things that he ever could’ve found.
When you consider all of the wonderful things we have in the world around us, it’s interesting that we would still find something that takes our breath away. The cave that he found certainly has the ability to do that.
It was in 1991 that the Vietnamese farmer made that discovery of a cave that seem to be unexplored. It was in the Phon Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Vietnam. When he heard a loud boom from the water inside, he didn’t go in.
Eventually, British explorers were able to make it to the area and they decided to enter the cave. They couldn’t believe what was unfolding in front of them as they walked inside.
We sometimes hear about something being ‘heaven on earth’, but the Hang Son Dong cave earned that reputation. It has a river, lakes with pure crystal water, and the world’s finest sand.
As far as the size of the cave is concerned, it is about 150 m wide and 5 km long. Inside the cave, you will find unique vegetation, animals, and even clouds.
In order to enter, you have to go down about 80 m on a rope but it is certainly worth the effort. The breathtaking view from below is worth anything to get there.
