There are many people who find themselves frozen in time, especially when they are involved with a celebrity. Bridget Moynahan is one of those individuals, but she has now moved on with her life.
52-year-old Bridget Moynahan was often looked at because she was a single mother. Soon after she separated from Tom Brady, she announced that she was pregnant and the couple’s child is now a teenager.
She once said: “I never thought I would raise a child alone and I want something equal to that in my life, as a partner, a lover, a friend.”
She also spoke about her personal feelings on the matter, saying: “I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family.”
Moynahan was in a relationship with Tom Brady, an NFL star but it ended in December 2006. Things changed, however, when she found out that she was three months pregnant not long after they broke up.
In the meantime, Brady had met a supermodel on a blind date the same month that he split with Moynahan. He then moved in with Gisele Bündchen, which made the situation more difficult.
In the end, Moynahan had to go through the pregnancy alone and was hounded by the media as she delivered the child. She said: “I’m not sure anyone – and I could be wrong in this – grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom.”
Despite the fact that she was in a difficult situation, she fully embraced being a good mother. She even said that she loved being a mother and how it transformed her life. She said: “I have become that mother I used to dread. Every time he does something, you think he’s a genius. He’s a genius.”
Eventually, Moynahan became romantically involved with a 49-year-old, Andrew Frankel and they were engaged in April 2015. They went on to hold a secret wedding ceremony at Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, New York, in October that same year.
In speaking about the wedding, she would express her thankfulness for her dress of the attention to detail that was given to the celebration. Many were also happy for the happiness that she had at the time, saying that she really deserved it.
It’s nice that she found somebody who really means so much to her. She is a great mother and we are happy that she found the thankfulness that she desired.
