One of the happiest times in a person’s life is when they become a parent. When they have grandchildren, it just adds to it.
Recently, Ree Drummond, who was also known as ‘the Pioneer Woman’ revealed that she is a grandmother. Her daughter gave birth to her first child on December 18, 2024.
Alex Drummond Scott gave birth to the little girl, named Sofia Marie Scott. Ree Drummond, who is a blogger and food writer shared the news on Instagram and people were quick to offer their congratulations.
The moment was shared in a special Instagram post that featured a picture of her husband and herself as they were looking at the young girl. The 55-year-old grandmother said: “Our first baby had her first baby. ❤️ Thank you Lord, we will never be the same.”
She also posted an Instagram story, saying that she would be sharing more pictures of Sophia.
You can really tell how happy she was at being a grandmother in the post that she was sharing. That post features pictures of her young granddaughter snuggled up in a white blanket and looking very comfortable.
The new mother was also on Instagram to share the news of her daughter’s arrival. Black-and-white photos were shared in a gallery that included her husband and newborn child. She captioned the post: “She’s here 🕊️ December 18th, 2024. At 2:27 am our perfect girl made her arrival a couple weeks early, just in time for Christmas! We are so in love and forever changed. Thank you Lord.”
We are so happy for the family and it looks as if they are well on their way to having everything they need to be happy and successful in life.
