When an election takes place for president of the United States, there is a lot going on behind the scenes that most people never realize. After all, it isn’t just the presidential candidates that are taking the lead, it is their family and friends that provide the driving force behind them.
For President-elect Donald Trump, one person who has been by him through thick and thin is his wife, Melania. She was there with him through his first time in the White House and through the difficult years in between as he went through various court cases.
Now that Donald and Melania Trump will be returning to the White House in January, there are questions as to how much time she will spend there. Some people are saying that she will not be living in the White House full-time.
One source who has worked very closely with Donald Trump throughout the presidential campaign is Elon Musk. As a billionaire, he has been able to help the campaign financially, and some have said that he has almost become a member of the family.
The relationship between Elon and Melania has undoubtedly grown during this time, but many wonder what her true feelings are about him.
According to a source who is close to the Trump family, she isn’t all that interested in visiting the White House. They said: “If Melania becomes first lady again, of course people expect her to move into the White House and perform appropriate duties.
“She will have her private living apartment there, and she has her home in New York and her home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. She will spend time in all of these places.”
One expert on the subject, Mary Jordan, spoke on the subject. She is the author of: “The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump”.
Recently, Jordan said: “She has told people, ‘Look, I’m not the one elected.’ So if she wants to go down to Mar-a-Lago and hang out by herself for two weeks, do that. But she is going to be in the White House. She loves a lot of the pomp and circumstance.”
Some sources have said that she is more likely to live at Trump Tower in New York in order to stay close to her son, Barron. Recently, he was enrolled at New York University. She may also be spending time in Palm Beach, Florida at her home at Mar-a-Laga.
The author of ‘Free, Melania’, Kate Bennett said: “She has carte blanche – she can be as active in the East Wing or as inactive as she cares to be.” She also said that she has decided not to use her husband’s time in office to build her own platform, such as other first ladies have done.
Med it also added: “The missed opportunity of this period between her tenure in the White House has been the lack of a continuing platform or policy agenda that most first ladies build on.”
Perhaps the most noteworthy information came from Melania herself. She said: “I’m not anxious because this time is different. I have much more experience and much more knowledge. I was in the White House before. When you go in, you know exactly what to expect.”
As far as the connection between the Trumps and Elon Musk, there is definitely something going on there. He may be an unspoken part of the family, but not everybody is happy about it. This includes some who are in Trump’s inner circle, who feel that Musk is overstepping his role.
One source said: “He’s behaving as if he’s a co-president and making sure everyone knows it. And he’s sure taking lots of credit for the president’s victory. Bragging about America PAC and X to anyone who will listen. He’s trying to make President Trump feel indebted to him. And the president is indebted to no one.”
Although Musk hasn’t commented on it, the transition spokesperson for the incoming president, Karoline Leavitt did say that they were ‘great friends’.
She said: “Elon Musk and President Trump are great friends and brilliant leaders working together to Make America Great Again. Elon Musk is a once in a generation business leader and our federal bureaucracy will certainly benefit from his ideas and efficiency.”
Another spokesperson, Anna Kelly said: “Elon Musk is a genius, an innovator, and has literally made history by building creative, modern, and efficient systems. Elon Musk has dedicated himself to America’s future by offering to serve with President Trump to ensure our government works more efficiently and uses America’s taxpayer dollars effectively.”
It seems as if Elon Musk will be co-leader for a new department in the government, the: “Department of Government Efficiency.”
There is not much said about his relationship with the first lady elect, but one source says that they are getting along well. They said that she likes Elon, but some people have their doubts.
According to a body language expert, she wasn’t happy when her husband declared himself a winner on election day. Even though they shared a hug and kiss, it was said that she was showing no closeness to him at the time.
They said: “When Trump looks back at Melania and gestures to her to come over for a hug, she reluctantly comes forward
“It’s very disjointed and awkward, and there’s no emotion from her. We don’t see any genuine smiles from Melania, it feels like a smile she has adopted for the occasion.
“There’s not the level of emotion you’d expect given her husband has just been elected president. It’s all quite contrived, she’s just reluctant to show any emotion, there’s no real happiness or joy. There’s always an awkwardness with Melania.”
Melania also spoke about the assassination attempt on her husband. She said: “When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life was on the brink of devastating change. I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband.
“To the families of the innocent victims who are now suffering from this heinous act, I humbly offer my sincerest sympathy. Your need to summon your inner strength for such a terrible reason saddens me.
“A monster who recognized my husband as an inhuman political machine attempted to ring out Donald’s passion – his laughter, ingenuity, love of music, and inspiration. The core facets of my husband’s life – his human side – were buried below the political machine. Donald, the generous and caring man who I have been with through the best of times and the worst of times.”
