Simone Biles is well known as being one of the greatest athletes of our day. She won seven different Olympic medals, which is an amazing feat in any sport.
Although Simone Biles won many gold medals for the United States, there were many who also felt that they had to point out something negative about her. That is often the case with social media, and it was quite an attack.
Rather than focusing on her accomplishments as a gymnast, they decided to go after her ‘fried’ hair. Admittedly, it was looking a little rough at the Paris Olympics, but she was not there to win a beauty pageant, she was there to win medals.
Recently, Simone stepped out of the red carpet for the 2024 Country Music Association Awards. They took place on November 20, and she drew a lot of attention because of her new look.
It started before she was on the red carpet, as she shared a story on Instagram with a photo of herself and a close friend. She was wearing blue jeans and a beige top, but she hinted that something was coming.
She wrote: “okay but wait for the glow up later today.”
When the 27-year-old Olympian stepped onto the red carpet that evening, she was stunning looking in a silvery metallic gown. It was obvious that she was feeling confident that evening.
The dress featured it off the shoulder sleeve along with the loaded shoulder strap and it did well with her athletic frame. She also wore some study or rings and a chain that showed off her wedding ring.
When she was in the spotlight as a presenter for the evening, she was there along with a number of other celebrities. They included Jeff Bridges, Carly Pearce, and Little Big Town.
She changed later in the evening into a silver power suit that carried the same metallic theme. It wasn’t long before social media comments were coming in.
There were plenty of people who had something positive to say, but others tended to focus on the negative. Some said that it looked good but the dress didn’t fit and others called it unflattering.
Her hairstyle was also the topic of discussion, with many saying that it was beautiful and they really liked it.
