Most people know Mike Tyson as being a boxer, and for good reason. He has been part of some of the biggest boxing matches in recent history, but he also is a family man.
Mike Tyson is known by his family as being someone who is there through the difficult times and the easy times. One of those difficult times occurred in 2009 when his four-year-old daughter died.
Despite the fact that they lost a young daughter, they continue to grow together as a family.
At 58 years of age, Mike Tyson is still known for his prowess in the ring. He has a fighting style that has won him many championships, and he was the youngest champion in heavyweight boxing history.
There have also been times when he faced difficulty in the ring, including when he bit Evander Hollifield’s ear off in a 1997 boxing match.
When his daughter died in 2009, it was difficult for him to handle. She passed away after becoming entangled in a treadmill cord and he was overcome with grief. You can see how he was unable to talk about it in the following interview:

He eventually was able to talk about it and opened up in his podcast in 2023. He said: “You never recover, but you live with it.”
Recently, he stepped into the ring with Logan Paul. Although that boxing match was infamously ‘boring’ to many, Tyson still managed to honor Exodus in a way that many people didn’t recognize. He wore black boxing trunks into the ring with her name stitched in the bottom front corner.
It has been a difficult road for Tyson, but he has his other children that continue to help him along the way.
Miki Tyson
The oldest of Tyson’s children, Miki is 34. He was very proud of her achievements, including when she released a song in October 2024, “Love Me Again”
He wrote: “My daughter @missmikityson’s new song. So proud. She’s an incredible writer and singer. Make sure you follow her page for more music.”
Ramsey Tyson
Ramsey was born to Monica Turner and is 28 years old. They are known for being an advocate for LGBTQ+ issues.
When speaking of what happened in 2020 after the wrapper Boosie Badazz made controversial comments about Zaya, Dwayne Wade’s daughter, he said:
“Part of the reason why I wanted to talk to Boosie about it is because I’m a nonbinary person who’s socially transitioned amongst my friends and started a medical transition. I felt like I couldn’t not say something.”
Amir Tyson
27-year-old Amir has become the owner of a successful clothing line. As a creative individual, he was able to make the clothing and build a thriving business around it.
Mike spoke about him when he was only 13 in 2011. He said: “He’s just nervous and afraid of life. But he’s doing so well…There are no bad influences. I have so many hopes for him.”
Milan Tyson
15-year-old Milan is the daughter of Mike and his wife, Lakiha Spicer. She also is an entrepreneur with her own activewear brand and her father appreciates her strength and determination.
She attended the ESPY Awards in 2023 with her father and he spoke about how being a father has changed him. He said: “Hey, it’s about that time. I have a daughter. I can’t be who I used to be, you know? Things have to change.”
Morocco Elijah Tyson
Morocco is 15 years old and is Mike’s youngest son. He loves playing tennis and is athletically gifted. He has also shared photos of him on the golf course.
