We sometimes look to others as being an example of who we would like to be. Even when they are facing difficult times, they put their best foot forward and do what they can.
One woman who was facing a very difficult situation was Juanita Lira Eguiguren. At the young age of 22, she was diagnosed with cancer but she continued to help others with her courage and strength.
Juanita, unfortunately, lost her battle with cancer at the age of 30. While she was fighting the disease, however, she helped many people to think positively about life and about the difficulties they may be facing.
One of the things that Wanita was well known for was her positive thinking. Despite how her circumstances may have been stacked against her, she maintained a positive spirit that was inspiring, to say the least.
She also made the expression before she passed away that ‘hope is peace for me.’ Believing in something, such as that, can help to provide strength during the time when you are at life’s darkest moment.
Along with being a well-known influencer, she had a family that was known for public service. Her father was the mayor of Lo Barnechea, Chile, so she was well-known in the community. Her loss was felt by many, not only on social media but also locally.
Before she was diagnosed with breast cancer, Juanita had plans to go to Barcelona, Spain in order to study. This would open up untold experiences that she had yet to have, but they were not to happen.
As she went through radiation therapy and surgery, she decided to help others on her road to recovery. It was a challenging time, but despite the personal milestone she faced, she did get her degree, found love, and got married.
Unfortunately, a biopsy was taken in 2017 and it revealed that the cancer had returned. It was now spreading and was in her lymph nodes, lungs, and sternum.
Despite the setback, she continued to display strength and resilience. She then launched “The Healthy Route” which was a business that focused on catering services to those who were health-conscious.
Her new platform allowed her to gain over 245,000 Instagram followers. She would help others to see her journey during a time that was her darkest.
Her story is one that will provide positive thinking and optimism to many who are going through difficult challenges. She was at the forefront and continues to inspire others, even after her death.
