It is a real honor when somebody does a biopic on your life. It must feel great that so many people want to know more about you and what made you famous.
There is a 2024 biographical film coming out about Robbie Williams, a British pop singer. That biopic, Better Man, was directed and cowritten by Michael Gracey.
It would be interesting to have somebody write about your life, but there is something unique about this video you will notice almost instantly. Robbie Williams, who is portrayed nicely in the film is actually portrayed as a chimpanzee, performed by Jonno Davies.
Something else that was interesting is how Robbie Williams is playing the voice of himself, despite the fact that he would not be playing the voice of his younger self. In addition, he had to watch himself being portrayed as a monkey throughout the film.
The announcement of the project came in February 2021. It was described as a satirical musical, and it was set to cover 30 years of Robbie Williams’s life, especially his rise to celebrity status.
The movie premiered in September 2024 at the Toronto International Film Festival. It is set to be released in Australia on December 26, with a limited release in the United States the day before and a wider release on the 17th of January.
