Live Coldplay & Richard Ashcroft At London’s Hyde Park
It’s amazing when people get together to do something for the greater good. Often, celebrities can accomplish more in a short amount of time than the rest of us could accomplish in a lifetime.
Back in 2005, London’s Hyde Park was home to an event that is still remembered fondly by many today. In fact, about 2 million people tuned in to view the event, and there was a significant crowd on hand as well.
That event, called The Band Aid Trust was set up by Sir Bob Geldof with the goal of raising money to help individuals who are impoverished.
An amazing amount of money was raised during this concert series to help those people around the world who were living in poverty. Considering the fact that 2 million people viewed it also helped to enlighten many on the subject.
Although there were many who took part in the event, Coldplay was one that thrilled the crowd. They had Richard Ashcroft with them to perform, and the crowd was absolutely thrilled with what they did.
You can listen to them performing for a massive crowd and singing Bittersweet Symphony. I guarantee it will give you chills.
