Recently, Kim Kardashian got a lot of negative feedback after wearing a $200,000 cross necklace. It was previously owned by Princess Diana but the 44-year-old star, who is known for being fashionable, wore the peace on November 2 in Los Angeles.
CNN said that she purchased the Naim Attallah Cross at a Sotheby’s auction in 2023. She paid just under $200,000 and this weekend was the first time she wore it in public.
Along with wearing the expensive cross, she also wore some other jewels, including a six-strand pearl choker. She also wore a white gown that showed a lot of cleavage.
Princess Diana had previously worn the cross at a 1987 birthday charity. It was borrowed from the Garrard jewelry company for the event. She wore it with a black and burgundy Catherine Walker dress with a high neck. It was hanging from a long strand of pearls.

It seems as if Kardashian may have hit a sour note with many fans, who started bashing her for wearing a religious symbol while also showing so much cleavage.
Some were saying that she was not royalty so she should not have it and others were calling it blasphemy.
That being said, there were some who said she had every right to wear it because she bought it.
