Our wedding is typically one of the most formal days we have in life. Some people will dress in their best clothes or they may even rent clothing for the occasion.
That doesn’t mean that everyone is going to wear their Sunday best at the wedding, and that is what is causing a stir online. Someone posted a video on TicTok of a friend’s wedding.
The video was interesting it was not about clothing choices but a snapshot from the video ended up being posted on Reddit. People were quick to post their opinions, and not all of them were positive.
You can see the bride in the snapshot wearing a mermaid-style wedding gown with a traditional veil. She also had on some nice heavy jewelry to accentuate the look.
The groom, or the other hand, was dressed casually for the occasion. He stood beside his bride in jeans, white sneakers, and a black T-shirt. This caused a lot of people to voice their concerns.
The photo was captioned: “Grooms wearing jeans at a fancy wedding.”
There were many comments, including some who said that the amount of effort he put into his outfit is likely the same effort he’ll give to his marriage. Others said how she looked great but he looked like he could care less.
Others were more positive and although they were not thrilled with the difference in clothing, they did wish the married couple well. They said that all that was really important was for them to be happy.
There will always be opinions on the subject, but it seems as if this one hit a nerve for many people.
