Tragedy can strike very quickly and without warning. Even when you are at the happiest place on earth, the unthinkable could take place.
Recently, a Disney World Vacation was taking place in Orlando and Amy and EJ were there with her six-year-old twin boys, Peyton and Bryant. They knew that they wanted to get into the parks but they got to the hotel a day early so they could enjoy the pool.
Peyton and Bryant were both good swimmers and could swim from the time that they were young. Amy said that they were like ‘little fish’ and if they were left in the water, they would be perfectly fine. What she didn’t know was how much their swimming skills would come in handy that day.
As the young boys were splashing around and enjoying the pool, they noticed that a three-year-old girl was running as fast as she could to the deep end. She wanted to get close to where they were playing and the mother was packing up their swim toys, so she was distracted.
When the twins saw her jump into the pool and start struggling to stay on top of the water, they knew that something was wrong. They then watched as she ‘sank to the bottom like a stone.’
The little boys didn’t panic but they used their ability to swim to take action. They went quickly together to save the little girl in a scene that certainly would’ve been something right out of a movie.
In the end, the little boys became heros but there is a lot more to the story. You can hear about it and watch it for yourself in the following video:
